NEWS BREAK!

Hello to my Greento100 friends!

I’m coming to your inbox today to share a fabulous opportunity to engage in an event through the 4th of July weekend that won’t come around in this form again! If you’re on the East Coast/Mid-Atlantic you are within driving distance of the Powerful Horse Freedom Week presented by Hope Horsemanship.

Hope Horsemanship is hosting international clinician Mark Langley for a 4-day clinic at Penmerryl Farm in Greenville, VA from July 4-7, 2024 and running the first ever Powerful Horse Expo that begins on Friday, July 5 with a live demo by Mark Langley from 6:30-8:30pm and features an all-day expo on Saturday, July 6 from 10am – 5pm all over the Penmerryl Grounds. The schedule continues to be updated with talks on subjects such as nutrition, rider posture, hoof care and quality hay, along with interactive activities, saddle fit and lameness demos and a book signing with Tom Moates.

In addition we have experts coming from all around to offer haul-in appointments, so if you’re in the area and want to meet with Dr. Ann Marie Hancock, osteopath from True North, consult with Stephanie Carter, functional nutritionist with Indigo Ancestral Health, or schedule a one-on-one saddle fit consult with Bronze Medalist, #1 rank in USAWE, and representative for Balance Saddles (now The Horse’s Voice) Michelle Lackey- she will do consults on Friday and Saturday and a demo on Saturday if the interest is confirmed. Michelle works with clients to help the horse find the right saddle for them over and above selling for a particular saddle brand. Contact Jaime@hopehorsemanship.com to schedule with Michelle, or to be connected to the team at True North for private appointments!

All in all, this promises to be an amazing opportunity to promote conversations around building a powerful equine partner in any discipline! As of today there are a couple participant places available for the Mark Langley Clinic, and auditor reservations are also available. Contact Jaime@hopehorsemanship.com for information and registration. Tickets are available now for all public events at www.powerfulhorse.com

About Mark Langley

Mark has trained many endurance bred, unhandled Arabians. He was selected Nationally to train a group that were hand picked for royalty overseas. He has also trained many wild horses and has experience with both cold and hotter breed types.

His training is based on creating a good, confident yet soft mindset that allows the horses to process negative or frightening stimulation. This processing helps them to be in a more manageable mindset. The steps he teaches not only shows how to get this but also helps the horses to help themselves, improving their confidence for future events. Mark’s rein work promotes correct posture and balance, to help with long term mobility and soundness. (As opposed to a false bend and frame.)

At Clinics, Mark teaches what each horse needs for good emotional stability. This covers how a horse processes information and what we need to do to promote a more attentive horse. His key skills are in honing in on braces that he sees in horses and his unique mastery at freeing these up – leading to a more open and flexible mind and body. His training is based on the concept that emotional limitations (braces, blocking, anxiety etc) are directly linked to physical movement and response. Throughout a clinic, participants can expect to gain a new perspective and a deep understanding of their horse; as well as watching Mark unfold and correct a multitude of problems into softness and changed horses.
